Excel is a Microsoft software application used to create worlsheets/ spreadsheets/graphs/charts. 7th Grade has been using operators and formulas in Excel in order for Excel to complete mathematical computations.
Windows Movie Maker is a digital video editor that enables you to create/publish movies with titles, transitions, effects, music, and narration.
Green Screen is a special color used when filming to allow chroma key effects in post-production.

In technology class we used information from the plant and animal cell to create a video and edited it using Jaycut & Windows Movie Maker.
The class filmed the videos using the FLIP camera’s, a green screen background and lightening. They edited the video by matching the chromokey green color range from the video in an effort to make the background transparent and reveal a selected image of a cell wall. Students compiled the “video takes” and “sound recordings” in Moviemaker and saved them as a WMV/WMA file.
