Hola clase!,
Pre k – K
The students have learn how to greet one another, learned songs such as “hola don pepito” and “hola amigo” and practiced how to introduce themselves in Spanish. The pupils will continue to practice Spanish routines, while working on emotions vocabulary, and learning about El dia de los muertos.
Grades 1 – 2
The students have practice how to introduce themselves and greet in Spanish. We had a blast singing Spanish songs and dancing the Macarena month song. The students will continue to practice the Spanish routine, which includes ABC, weather and calendar. The pupils will be working on how to express feelings in Spanish, by learning new songs, playing the flyswatter emotion game and discussing about El dia de los muertos.
Grades 3 – 4
The students have shown me how fast they can learned, not only they have practiced how to introduce themselves and greet one another, but are looking for opportunities to show me and schools personnel as well!. Amazing!!!. The students will continue to practice the Spanish routine, and their Spanish spelling skills. They will also learn how to ask and express while discussing about “El dia de los muertos” and Spanish heritage month. (Sept 15 – Oct 15).
Grades 5- 6
The students have practice their conversational and listening skills in order to improve their abilities to introduce and greet others in Spanish. We had the opportunity to record group conversations and learn from St Cletus teachers and students who shared with us their basic information in Spanish! The students will continue to practice the Spanish routine and their Spanish spelling skills. They will also practice how to ask and express feelings while celebrating Spanish heritage month (Sept 15 – Oct 15) and El dia de los muertos.
Grades 7 – 8
The students have worked on their communicative skills by practicing how to introduce themselves, gather basic information and greet in Spanish. We had the opportunity to build our own facebook and Wikipedia pages in Spanish!. The results were Fantastic!!!.
The students will continue to practice the Spanish routine and their Spanish communicative skills. They will also review how to ask and express emotions while celebrating Spanish heritage month (Sept 15 – Oct 15) and El dia de los muertos.
